My visual career began with undertaking University study in the Fine Arts, and in turn, I have had a lot of exposure different disciplines within the creative industries.
This creative training has allowed me to develop my attitudes and styles within Contemporary and Traditional Fine Art Photography. I am a member of the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) and have judged both local and international photography awards".

Creating a Conceptual Art Portfolio with Phillipa Frederiksen

Have you ever considered producing a portfolio of your work?
A portfolio is a selection of images that make up a whole, so that many individual photographs become one body of work.

In 2017 Phillipa Frederiksen instigated a new initiative for APS (Australian Photographic Society) that would cater for members who wish to develop their photographic talents through an
avenue other than competitions.
This new initiative is known as CAPA > The Conceptional Art Portfolio Award.

This evening Phillipa will present on the concepts and structure that will help you to understand and begin the process of creating your own personal portfolio of work.
