Noel Clark Excellence Award >
Noel Clark EFIAP FAPS PPSA PSQA was a passionate photographer, a successful International exhibitor and respected judge. He was generous with his time in helping others and a strong leader within the club throughout the years.
Noel was a member of the club from February 2008 until November 2019, when he passed away suddenly of a heart attack. Noel was known for his sense of humour, cheeky grin and working tirelessly to help members flourish in their photography. Noel gained great satisfaction seeing club members progress & succeed and rejoiced when they did.

The Noel Clark Excellence Award recognises a member who has actively pursued their passion in photography to improve, progress and succeed. This award may also be used to recognise a member who has contributed to others through club activities.

Dan Hillier
Dan is a wonderfully talented photographer who has a wealth of experience in many aspects of photography, both in the traditional darkroom as well as the modern, digital environment. He has dabbled in many corners of photography including alternative processes and is always up for trying something different. We recognise Dan for his knowledge and experience, and we appreciate all of the work and preparation he puts into the workshops he runs for club members.

This year Dan ran two brilliant Cyanotypes workshops, one with Bob Darling at his home and the other at the Lions Club. Both workshops were a lot of fun and it was very interesting for members to learn this alternative method of outputting their works. In the club rooms Dan presented 'Getting started with Astrophotography', and also ran an astro workshop on the Beechmere foreshore.

Dan was a valued member of the project team and an individual exhibitor in our 'The Way We See' photographic Exhibition at Redland Museum which ran during April and May. He regularly joins club events and gets involved with club outings and tours. Dan has participated throughout the entire year in the club Image Critiques Digital section and also the Print Section. He is well known for his beautiful prints and imagery which are such a pleasure to view.
Congratulations Dan!

Dianne Arthur Memorial Award >
Di Arthur had a love and passion for photography in her younger years, then came children and family and other commitments. Later in life Di's passion was rekindled when she joined the Redlands Camera club, she loved photography and had a great passion at a later age in life to improve and grow in it. Di passed away suddenly, but is dearly remembered by all of the many friends within the club for her photography passion, laughter and zest for life.
The woman receiving the Di Arthur award exemplifies a woman with an active passion for photography, improvement and growth to achieve their best.

Christine Fenwick
Christine has a boundless energy and an unquenchable thirst to learn the technical aspects of her camera as well as photographic techniques. She's very active with her photography and has been a regular participant in many club activities throughout the year. Congratulations Christine!

Allen Forbes Trophy >
This trophy was designed to recognise the faithfulness of a person in their photographic life, support for other events of the club and assisting others where possible. The Allen Forbes trophy recognises service to the club over a period of time.

Liane Day FAPS
Liane joined the club operations team in 2018, she holds the position of assistant treasurer and catering co-ordinator. Every club night Liane organises members to assist with catering, attends every club meeting, and mans the reception desk even while living through some challenging situations as she waits for her new home to be built and struggling with a shoulder injury after a fall at work. We want to thank Liane for everything that she does for the club and members, and we also wish her a speedy recovery for the next round of her shoulder surgery!
Congratulations Liane!

Barrie Russell Memorial Award >
Barrie was an original member of the club, a born photographer and successful exhibitor. He was also a talented sail maker and well known in yachting circles.
During his membership of the club, he helped those who were new to photography as well as more experienced members who sought his help.

He died from a heart attack at an early age and this trophy commemorates his memory and club contributions. The taller sections of the trophy represent the sails and the camera, his photography.
The award was established to recognise the contribution of one member during the year to club activities. It has also been used to recognise the commitment and advancement of skills by members, particularly those who are newer members of the club.

Lurline Slater
We want to recognise Lurline's contribution to the club and members. Lurline participated in the Image Critiques in both the Digital and Print topics throughout the year. She was involved with, and assisted with the Redlands Print Exhibition at the Redland Museum. Lurline has faithfully assisted many club members particularly with phone photography and also took up her library role which she shares with Wendy Bauer.

In 2018 Lurline started the group that was originally known as the iPhoneography group and was later changed to the Mobile Phone photography Group, so that Android phone users were included. The group met once a once month and covered topics such as mobile app reviews, in camera apps, accessories, courses, field trips and monthly image critiques. The group was attended by a core group of members who have enjoyed and appreciated all of the work Lurline put into this very helpful resource. After running this group for 4 years Lurline has decided to close the group as it has run its course. Let's thank Lurline with a big hand!
